On Tuesday, 28 May 2019, as a part of  annually implemented the Educational and Preventive Programme,  our students took part in a meeting which aim is to shape a positive attitude towards people with disabilities and fight against stereotypes.

In this year’s workshop we had opportunity to talk to Mr Sławomir who is in a wheelchair. Physical disability does not prevent him from functioning well in his everyday life. He tries to pursue his passions and make his dreams come true by leading a very active lifestyle. We have learnt from him that if you really have a strong desire to do something, you are able to achieve goals and make your dreams come true, because neither cycling, boxing, swimming nor parachuting are impossible for a disabled person.Mr Sławomir also shared with us some ideas how to behave and why we should not be afraid in contact with people with disabilities. He enthused us with his smile and optimism.
