A match lasting 3.14 min, weighing 3.14 kg of apples, darts from a distance of 3.14 m, competition with the aim to write the largest number of pi-words and taking the best pi- photos, these were the attractions waiting for our students on Friday, March 16th when School PI Day was celebrated.

The originators and coordinators of this event: Agata Liczbańska and Julia Dudek from class 2GB with support of Tadeusz Kiszka, Jakub Mnich and Jakub Petryłka from class 3G, provided the school community with plenty of attractions. All tasks were designed with the aim to motivate participants to logical thinking and creativity. The celebration ended up with a treat of cakes and  a circular cross-section cookies. It made the whole event not only funny but also tasty, which will surely help to remember number pi and its approximation of 3.14 for a long time.
